Voter Registration & Absentee Ballot Information

Information & Deadlines for the November 2, 2010 General Election

Even if you commute to work, are older, have difficulties getting to the polls, will be on vacation, or whatever, you can still vote!

Your vote is your voice as an American citizen. It's your opportunity to be heard, to hold elected officials accountable for their decisions and to have a say in important issues that affect your community. On Election Day, every vote matters.

Abraham Lincoln called democracy "government of the people, by the people, and for the people." It means that we are not here to serve our government, but that our government is here to serve us—and we have the right to decide who will represent us and how we want to be represented. It means that we have one of the greatest rights any free people can have: the right to vote.
